We had a long night last night, Jadyn was up every few hours...
She is very much like an infant, happy when sleeping, eating and being held.
Yesterday afternoon, we went for a walk in a large park on a lake (China's version of Central Park) and Jadyn actually fell asleep and we were able to put her in a stroller.
Gabe finally found the place to have a catch with Adam!
I think they both needed that..
We are going to take Jadyn down to breakfast in a few minutes and see if she will eat some congee and a scrambled egg.
We are thinking of all of you!
See you soon..

Nora, Adam and Gabe: I know these first few days And nights are not easy but it will continue to get better. It all sounds right on target with everything I've read. She is grieving and needs to go through that process in order to bond to your family. It will happen and you will be overwhelmed with joy! Wishing you all the best. Leanne
Nora, Adam and Gabe,
I was just thinking about you guys and found the connection to your blog in my e-mail box. Jadyn is really just beautiful and I cannot wait to meet her! I know it is not going to be easy --- those long nights are tough (I had one Sat night...I feel your pain!)
I just wanted you all to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Looking forward to your return. Jill
